Dr. Ginevra Brocca is an ACVP‑boarded veterinary pathologist specialising in fish and shellfish diseases. She combines academic research with extensive diagnostic experience in aquatic animal health and has authored more than 20 peer‑reviewed publications.

After completing her DVM and PhD in comparative pathology at the University of Padua (Italy), she worked as a diagnostic fish pathologist at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island (Canada), gaining particular expertise in salmonid, halibut, wolffish, and oyster pathology. Now based in Scotland, she works as an independent consultant in fish and shellfish pathology and partners with HistoCompany to provide diagnostic expertise alongside their digital histology services.
